Help In Hand is a dual-use app designed for both people with Dementia and their carers. As someone with dementia, you can continue to live your life as independently as possible with this helpful reminder app - giving you simple prompts such as when to eat breakfast and who will be round that day. I was inspired by UBER as an app that allows the user to find a cab very quickly and simply. I thought it would be handy for the primary carer of somebody with Dementia to have this service as well. They could have their own app which shows them members of the community who are free to give up their time and help out in any way, such as organising an activity to do with the person with Dementia. The user would also be able to request where and what time they need someone and can then look through the available profiles. By encouraging members of the community to help care for someone with dementia, this app would be extremely beneficial to our economy.
